About Us
Upkar Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences, Varanasi, was established in 1994 by Dr. S. J. Patel and Dr. Mamta Patel with a vision to create skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals. Built on the strong foundation of Upkar Hospital — which has been serving Eastern Uttar Pradesh and neighboring states like MP, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh for over two decades — our institute blends tradition with modern healthcare education.

Our institute is proudly approved by the Uttar Pradesh State Government, Uttar Pradesh Midwife Registration Council, and the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, and is affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty, Lucknow.

Our Institute offers the best undergraduate diploma course , General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) 3 year course that is structured to designed for aspirants who want to pursue a career in clinical nursing
ANM 2 Year Course
We proudly provide a 2 year undergraduate diploma course Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) . It opens wide range clinical nursing career that the students can evidently take their pick from.

We provide Online & Offline both types of classes on demand of our students . Online classes are very safe during Covid -19 Pandemic and very practical as offline class.

We provide smart classes to our students . each and every classes are fully equipped with overhead projectors , wide screen and other audio visual equipment.

We provide community visit to every year students according to their syllabus for course completion . We also provide community posting in government hospital and CHC for the completion of course.
Covid - 19 Training
We provide online & offline Covid - 19 training in our Institute for minimum duration of 1 week and more .
